I am an integrative counsellor, which means that I have a
range of approaches at my disposal, and I choose to work with each individual
client based on what we both feel will be of greatest benefit.

I try to help my clients to live life to their fullest potential. Sometimes clients
come with a specific issue they wish to address, for instance they feel they are
drinking too much alcohol, or are suffering from anxiety or depression. Others
may be less specific, for instance a client may feel that their life has become
stuck, that they are unfulfilled yet have no clear idea why. Counselling with me
is usually for an initial stage of six sessions.

Sessions are normally weekly, but we may meet fortnightly after the initial stage
should we both feel that is appropriate.

I have a Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling and a Post-Graduate
Diploma in Drug and Alcohol Studies, both from London universities.

I am an experienced qualified counsellor, residing and practising in Croydon
CRO. I have been practising counselling for over ten years now. I am a member
of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am on the
Counselling Register.

I have undertaken further specialist training to be of more effective help to
victims of traumatic incidents. Eye Movement treatment is recognised by the
National Institute for Clinical Excellence as being an appropriate intervention
for post traumatic stress disorder, where symptoms like flashbacks, panic
attacks, nightmares and insomnia may persist long after the event that
triggered them.

I have a Practitioner Certificate in Eye Movement Integration. I am a Master
Practitioner in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), which helps clients to
replace limiting beliefs with healthy positive and creative self-image.
